Determine which voltage setting you will use by checking your user manual or online product page. This example has a voltage input of up to 50V.
The array comes in the default Low Voltage mode. The output will be around 20V@15A. If your power station needs a higher voltage, proceed with changing the voltage output of the array.
To change modes, first close the array so the panels are not exposed to any sunlight, and disconnect the MC4 cables from your power station.
Find the included Allen wrench that came with the array. Remove the 4 screws on the switch box (the box with the MC4 cables). Place these screws somewhere safe.
Lift and rotate the lid so the Line up the arrow on the lid with the HV or LV label on the switch box and reattach the lid with all 4 screws
Before reattaching the lid, confirm the arrow is in the correct position
Install the four screws to reattach the lid.
The array is now in the High Voltage mode and will output around 60V@5A. To switch back to the Low Voltage mode, follow the steps above and note the location of the arrow on the switchbox.
