The kit also features no-drill fasteners, ensuring a strong and secure bond without the need for drilling into the mounting surface.
The vented backer is a custom-cut piece of corrugated plastic with double-sided foam tape around the perimeter that sticks to the panel and acts as a gasket to prevent wind noise & drag on a vehicle. The backer can flex so you can mount it on a curved surface.
It's designed for long-term outdoor use in any weather. When applied following the instructions, these will hold your panels in place for as long as you need.
This kit is ideal for mounting your flexible panel to an RV, van, or the roof of a shed or fixed structure.

The backer is exactly the same length and width as the flexible panel. It will add 5/16 of an inch to the panel depth.
